I am not going to swim. Do you have a spectator rate?
Mountain Creek Waterpark is a participatory park and therefore, we do not offer a discount for those who choose not to swim.

What about my valuables?
The best thing is to leave them at home. Please don’t bring them into the waterpark or leave them exposed in your car. Keyless entry car systems can become inoperable if they get wet. Lock money and keys in a locker* instead of keeping them in pockets where they may fall out in the rides. Mountain Creek Waterpark cannot be responsible for items that are lost or stolen from vehicles or from inside the waterpark.

*Lockers are available on a first come, first serve basis. Lockers are located in the boardwalk area of the park.

May I leave and re-enter the park without a charge?
You may exit the park and re-enter throughout the day as long as you have your original wristband on your wrist and it has been unaltered.

Is there a Refund Policy?
Mountain Creek Waterpark has a NO REFUND POLICY.

Does Mountain Creek Waterpark offer lockers?
Yes. We recommend that you secure your valuables in a locker. Mountain Creek Waterpark is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Lockers are available at the boardwalk for a fee.

  • Personal – $20 *Holds 1 bag* Five dollars refunded when you return the key.
  • Family – $30 *Holds 3 bags* Five dollars refunded when you return the key.
  • Jumbo – $40 *Holds 5 bags* Five dollars refunded when you return the key.
  • Seasonal – $45, Five dollars refunded when you return the key.

Lockers are available on a first come, first serve basis. Lockers are located in the boardwalk area.

Do I need footwear?

Mountain Creek Waterpark walkways, like any pavement, absorb the sun’s heat. We strongly recommend that you wear some type of secure footwear. If you did not bring proper footwear, you can purchase aqua-socks at currents. Footwear may be worn on tube rides only and in the wave pool. Footwear is not permitted on body slides or our Cliff Jumps or Bomb’s Away.  Mountain Creek is not responsible for anything lost, stolen or misplaced.

What may I wear at Mountain Creek Waterpark?

Mountain Creek Waterpark is a family waterpark. Appropriate, conservative swimwear only please. Swim wear is defined as an article of clothing, such as a swimsuit, that has been designed to be used in a pool environment. Swimwear should be lined and may not be transparent at any time. Revealing swimwear, thong or t-back swimwear bottoms will not be permitted. Cut off jeans, denim clothing, hard metal objects, t-shirts and shoes cannot be worn on the body contact slides. If a shirt must be worn on the slides, only spandex, lycra or rash guard shirts may be worn. No undergarments may be visible at any time. No profanity/vulgar images or language allowed. Displayed tattoos must be in good taste and not offensive to our family environment.

What if my party gets separated?

Establish a time and place to meet. If your kids are old enough to be on their own, make sure they check in periodically for sunscreen and drink breaks. If you do get unintentionally separated, alert any staff member.

Can I bring a picnic?
Mountain Creek Waterpark offers a wide variety of delicious foods at Mountain EATS and Sugar Shack.

No outside food or beverage is allowed to be brought into Mountain Creek Waterpark other than individual, sealed bottles of water. However, exceptions are made for Guests with special medical needs where their well-being may be compromised while in the park. These Guests will be permitted to bring in a small snack and juice to have on hand in case their wellness is compromised. Guests with special dietary needs such as allergies, may not bring food into the park, however, they can rent lockers at the base lodge and store their items securely while enjoying the park. The food may then be consumed outside the park in designated areas around the base lodge. Guests with special medical needs will be required to show proof of medical condition in the form of a physician’s note, medical device, tattoo, ID bracelet or approved medical card.

Do you provide first aid at Mountain Creek Waterpark?
All of Mountain Creek Waterpark water safety employees are trained in CPR. We also have EMT’s on staff and on site at the park. The park has a First-Aid station for our guest’s comfort and convenience.  EMS is located in the brown building near the footbridge.

Am I allowed to smoke in the waterpark?

Many of our guests choose not to wear footwear around the waterpark. For their safety and out of respect for those who prefer not to be exposed to smoke we do not allow smoking in the Waterpark.

What if it rains while we are there?

KEEP YOUR WRISTBAND! We will close our attractions when unsafe conditions are present (as determined by Management in conjunction with our weather service). We will re-open when weather conditions in our immediate area are safe to do so (we cannot guarantee ideal weather conditions). In the event we cannot re-open our attractions within 75 minutes, you’ll receive a full or twilight ticket for a return visit (your wristband must be intact and on your wrist to be valid for a raincheck). No refunds are issued regardless of time spent in the park.

Do I need to bring cash or do you accept debit & credit cards?

We are a cashless resort. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards including Apple Pay at any of our points of purchase. Be sure to carry your ID with you if you plan to use your Credit Card. For your protection and due to the high number of credit card and identity issues today, Mountain Creek Waterpark requires that a valid ID be presented at the time of any credit card transaction.

Located in the Red Tail Lodge Lobby we have a reverse ATM where you can turn cash into a Visa Prepaid Card up to $500. These cards can be used anywhere that a Visa card is accepted and are an added amenity for our guests.
